NEW RULES FROM 1 JANUARY 2023 – IS YOUR BUSINESS READY?
From January 2023, all shops and businesses throughout the country must sort office and canteen waste. This means that you as a company must have an agreement with a waste disposal company to collect your waste. As a general rule, you must sort everything that can be recycled. Specifically, you must sort your paper, cardboard, glass, metal, food waste, plastic, hazardous waste, food & drink cartons and textiles. This is also known from home, where you have to sort into 10 fractions.

THE FINE PRINT
So where is the limit – is there a trivial limit? It is up to the individual municipality to interpret where the trivial limit lies for what you as a company have to sort. If you are in doubt, you must contact your municipality. We at Verdis would very much like to assist you with sparring, and we generally recommend that you use your common sense: If you have so little of a certain type of waste that you cannot fill a waste bag, it does not make sense to have a collection scheme , if we put on the CO2 goggles.

We ensure that security shredding is carried out in accordance with the applicable legislation, so that your company is ensured that the confidential information is handled correctly.
SECURE SHREDDING OF CONFIDENTIAL PAPERS
Your company can choose the following solutions:
- We deliver a mini-container with a security-approved lock. The confidential documents are placed in it, and we collect the container and bring the contents directly for shredding.
- Mobile security shredding. This type of security shredding is done directly at the company’s address by placing the confidential documents in a car that acts as a large shredder. The shredded load can then be driven to the incinerator.
